We create handmade garments, where no two are alike—and none are made alone. Derived from utility, we refine clothes that feel uniquely yours. All our products are made collectively and in small numbers.
How it’s made
We source two types of fabrics: new old stock and contemporary, made in Europe or Japan. Our products are made in collaboration with independent creatives, small factories in Europe. Developing in family size environments gives room for exploration and artistry.
Our Vision
The No I clothes are genderless pieces with comfortable silhouettes and a subtle sophistication. As mind workers we care for sustainability, respect for the process and collaborators. Our brand is a constant reminder that no stage is in isolation. We aim to make unique products through deep relations.
The Mission
We took the challenge to create for the creative worker of today—agile, curious, open. Many corporate brands have taken the approach to represent the genre. We believe it needs much more dedication and respect to deliver a great experience.
The Founders
No I is based in Amsterdam and is the contribution of many creators. The initiator, Mircea Mocanu works as a brand designer, exploring ways of communicating in cultural fields while aiming to create with purpose together with others.
