How we made the baseball caps
Me and Bogdan go way back, to the times when we were both working in a rap music production studio. He’s been making cycling and citizen caps for more than 10 years in a madman studio in Bucharest. A visit at his studio always ends up in long debates where we both share our take on realism, mostly. And how to make things work through our indie initiatives.

Bogdan chose a few of the fabrics I found in a warehouse that was closing down, to which I added some French old fabrics cut out from heavy clothes from the 50’s. He prototyped the first 6 panel caps and we made a first batch of 30 caps. It was great to do something together opening up for accessories for No I.
We used aluminium tension locks from an outdoor retailer in Austria and polyester webbing for the back adjustment system. I didn’t have the right labels at that time so I sewed them manually after receiving them from Japan.
