Atelier Long Coat

Our longest garment is inspired by shop keeper, teacher, chemist or military worker blouse from 1940’s. Two deep hand pockets respectively two intriguing indigo chest pockets. The overcoat is assembled with French seams, including sleeves. The collar is long, with a relatively narrow tip. The tailor made some distinctive finger prints on this coat — indigo accents on the pockets and sleeve straps.

The fabric is new old stock French metis, a blend of cotton and linen. It is undyed and has a crisp feel that will soften over time. Standard cotton machine wash or dry cleaning.
