Atelier Long Coat

Our longest garment is inspired by shop keeper, teacher, chemist or military worker blouse from 1940’s. Two deep hand pockets respectively two sophisticated buttoned welt chest pockets. The overcoat is assembled with French seams, including sleeves. This ultra long piece is sewn with fluorescent contrast thread.

This run is made of new old stock French metis, a blend of cotton and linen. It is dyed natural indigo in a very light shade, when the vat was preparing for a rest.

Natural indigo will fade naturally in time. We recommend washing this only when the product is dirty. It’s advised to wash the clothes separately, as they tend to bleed during washing. You can wash it on cotton program at low temperature. Do not bleach.
